The annual "Quilts Around the Town" festival, sponsored by Country Treasures Quilting & Fabric Store, will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 11th, 12th and 13th, 2007 here in Chester, VT.  

In its eleventh year, the three-day celebration of this distinctively American art will include demonstrations of quilt-making, a display of old and new quilts throughout the town, and an opportunity to display family quilts that have been handed down from generation to generation.

 

 

The Package

  • A one-night or two-night stay for 1, 2, 3 or 4 persons at the cozy and historic Chester House, located just across Chesters quaint Village Green from "Country Treasures" Quilting & Fabric Store (sponsor of the "Quilts Around the Town").

  • Admission to all Quilt Festival events.  

  • A full Vermont breakfast each morning, so you'll be ready for the day's activities.

  • A exquisite dinner (on Friday or on Saturday) at a selected fine restaurant in the area.  [Meal tax and gratuity not included.]

  • And a voucher for 10% off the purchase of any quilting or other books you purchase at the Misty Valley Books (just across the Village Green from the Inn and a few doors down from Country Treasures Quilt & Fabric Store).

The Chester House is located directly across the street from "Country Treasures" Quilt Shop.
