We see that you finally received the much needed snowfall and we hope the
skiers are all packing up their cars and heading your way. We wanted
to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in your beautiful, comfy Inn.
The room (#7) was perfect for our 3-person family, and the morning
breakfast sent us to the slopes every morning smiling, happy and quite full.
We looked forward to coming back every night and sitting in front of
the fire in the Keeping Room while we got our evening fix of Olympics.
All your
recommendations--from restaurants to ski rental to maple syrup--were so
helpful.... Finally, we were deeply touched by how welcome you made or
10-year-old son, Evan, feel. You made him feel special, smart and
grown-up. This was an unexpected gift you so generously gave us.
We wish you nothing but great success and hope to see you back on our next
trip north to ski.

The Inn is great! Your interior decor is traditional yet eclectic: respects the old yet creatively mixes an amazing assortment of curiosities that are surprising, fun and delightful! Every room is a visual feast! Your breakfasts were also feasts. They propelled us well into the afternoon each day. Our room was comfy. Thanks for the tour of the other rooms - all very true to the pictures on your website - very appealing and spacious!

Every guest room is more beautiful than the other, and the dining room is gorgeous! Even the keeping Room is a work of art. The bed was very comfortable and we had a couple of good nights' sleep. We enjoyed our visit very much.

By the way, although we never mentioned it we had arrived in sad circumstances for us. One of Peter's brothers had died the night before we arrived and we knew that as soon as we got home we would be flying south for his memorial service. So complete relaxation with no frustrations or upsets were just what we needed. It apparently was only natural for you to provide that atmosphere without even knowing our circumstances.
