Since
the second half of "Bed & Breakfast" is "breakfast,"
we feel
it is only right that we dedicate a page of our web site to our
delicious and nutritious gourmet morning meals.
|
Many of our guests
lead very busy lives and often, in their daily routine, skimp on their first--and most
significant--meal of the day.
But while staying
here at the Inn, they
can slow down, relax and enjoy the kind of superb breakfast they don't
often have.

"Breakfast is
important to everyone’s overall health and performance. It is an
early-morning refueling stop for your body. After 8 to 12 hours
without a meal or a snack, your body needs to replenish its blood sugar, the main energy source for the brain....
Studies
show breakfast eaters tend to have more strength and endurance, and
better concentration and problem-solving abilities."

Dietetic Association

We
understand the importance of a good breakfast and so we take the time and care to prepare
a tasty and nutritious morning meal for all our guests.
Guests at
the Chester House are pampered each morning with a scrumptious, full
breakfast.
A few
of our delectable breakfasts are pictured here on this page. |
Variety is a
spice we use a lot of, and so the breakfast menu at the Chester House
changes daily. That way and each morning our guests enjoy a
different treat.
Our
new Dining Room, where you will enjoy a full breakfast
at a private table. |
Breakfast
is served between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM at your own private table in our charming new Dining Room.
That way if you want to engage in conversation with other guests, you
can, but if you want a more private time together, you can have that as
well.
|
On summer
mornings, we often serve breakfast outside on our deck.
With
prior notice, we try our very best to accommodate guests who have medical dietary
restrictions.

The Chester House is proud to have received, in
2006, 2007 and 2008 the rarely-awarded score of a perfect 100% on the annual
inspection of our kitchen, our food service areas, our dining room and all our
guest rooms by the Vermont Department of Health:
Our guests are more comfortable knowing
that their breakfasts are prepared and served according to the highest
standards of the State of Vermont, and that their rooms are clean and sanitary,
as well as charming and beautiful.
