Maple Syrup Open House Weekend

Lodging Package

March 26-28, 2010

Held annually at sugarhouses throughout Vermont, the Vermont "Maple Syrup Open House Weekend" is a public celebration of the maple syrup season in Vermont as well as an opportunity for visitors to see how maple syrup is made and to sample and purchase fresh maple syrup and other maple products.

The Ninth Annual Vermont Maple Open House Weekend will be held at sugarhouses throughout Vermont, March 26-28, 2010. The Open House Weekend is an opportunity for the public to visit one or more "sugarhouses" throughout the state.

There are 8 participating sugarhouses within 25 miles of the Chester House Inn, and 22 sugarhouses within 50 miles.  And we have a map to help you get you to them easily.

Activities during Open House Weekend will be different at each sugarhouse but will include the opportunity to watch maple syrup being made (weather permitting) and often sample maple products.

Take advantage of the Chester House's special Maple Weekend Package (see below) and use the Inn as your home-base for touring the many southern Vermont sugar houses (some of which are open to the public only this weekend!).
