The Grafton Ponds Nordic Center is located just 8 miles from the Chester House.  In addition to having some of the best cross-country skiing in New England, the Grafton Ponds Nordic Center  offers ice skating, snowshoeing and snow tubing.  [Instruction in both classical and skate skiing techniques and equipment rentals are available for additional fees.]

Weekend Guests

Guests who stay at the Chester House on weekends can each receive a voucher for 33% off a full day or afternoon trail pass at Grafton Ponds for each night they stay at the Inn.  Vouchers are valid on Saturday and Sunday¹.

Mid-Week Guests

Guests who stay at the Chester House mid-week (Sunday thru Thursday nights) can each receive one voucher for a day Grafton Ponds for each night they stay at the Inn².  The vouchers are valid for use Monday thru Friday (except Christmas Week, Jan. 17th, and Presidents Week) for one of the following winter activities each day¹:

² The mid-week offer is based on double occupancy.  Only 2 guests per room can use the mid-week vouchers; for rooms #5 and #7, where more than two guests can occupy the room, the mid-week offer is not available to the third or fourth guests in the room.  The mid-week offer is not valid for Room #6 or with any other discount.
